Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how GRP LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application Calorie Tracker ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

GRP LLC is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States.

Calorie Tracker is designed to be local-first: the data you create — your food diary, weight history, recipes and settings — is stored on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not keep a copy of your diary on our servers. Some features (AI photo and voice analysis) send the specific content you submit to third-party processors, as described below.

Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide Directly

Nutrition and Diary Data

When you use the App, you create and store:

  • Meals and foods you log, including names, portions, calories and macronutrients
  • Custom recipes you build
  • Water intake entries
  • Your daily calorie and macro goals

Meal Photos

When you use AI photo analysis, you provide a photo of your meal. The image is sent to our AI processor to estimate its nutrition. We do not retain the image after the estimate is returned.

Voice and Meal Descriptions

When you use voice logging, your spoken description is converted to text on your device using Apple Speech Recognition. The resulting text description of your meal is then sent to our AI processor to estimate nutrition.

Body and Goal Data

  • Weight entries and weight goals
  • Profile details you enter for goal calculation (such as height, age, sex, and activity level), used to compute your targets

Support Communications

When you contact us for support, we collect your email address, the content of your message, and basic device/app information you choose to share for troubleshooting.

2. Health Data (Apple Health / HealthKit)

If you grant permission, the App integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) to:

  • Read: your steps, active energy burned, workouts, and body measurements, to show your activity and adjust your calorie balance.
  • Write: the calories you eat, water you drink, and macros, so they appear in the Health app.

Health data accessed through HealthKit is processed on your device. We do not transmit your HealthKit data to our servers, and we do not use it for advertising. Apple's HealthKit framework prohibits such uses. You can revoke Health access at any time in iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.

3. Information Collected Automatically

Device Information

  • Device type and operating system version
  • App version
  • Language and region preferences

Diagnostics and Crash Data

  • Crash reports, error logs, and basic performance data, used to find and fix bugs (collected via Sentry)

Subscription Information

  • Subscription status (free or premium)
  • Purchase history (processed by the Apple App Store)
  • Anonymous subscription identifiers (via RevenueCat)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Estimate the nutrition of a meal from a photo using AI vision
  • Estimate the nutrition of a meal from a spoken or typed description using AI
  • Look up packaged foods by barcode
  • Calculate your daily calorie and macro targets
  • Show your progress, trends and insights
  • Sync calories, water and macros with Apple Health (when enabled)

Improve Your Experience

  • Save your diary, recipes, weight history and preferences on your device
  • Generate personalized insights from your logged data
  • Remember your settings (language, units, goals, dashboard layout)

Manage Subscriptions

  • Process and verify premium subscriptions
  • Provide access to premium features

Communicate With You and Improve the App

  • Respond to support inquiries
  • Diagnose crashes and fix technical issues

Artificial Intelligence Providers

When you use AI photo or voice meal analysis, the relevant content (the meal photo, or the text description of your meal) is processed by an AI service to return a nutrition estimate:

Important: When you use these features, your meal photo or meal description is transmitted to the AI provider for processing and may be processed in the United States or other countries. We do not send your name, contact details, or health history along with these requests.

We Do NOT:

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

The following data is stored locally on your device:

  • Your food diary and logged meals
  • Custom recipes and favorites
  • Weight history and goals
  • Water intake
  • App preferences, settings and dashboard layout

Data Transmission Security

  • All data transmitted between your device and our backend uses HTTPS encryption
  • AI provider keys are held only on our backend and are never shipped in the app

Server-Side Storage

  • We do not maintain long-term storage of your diary or personal nutrition data on our servers
  • AI requests are processed in real time and are not retained by us after a result is returned
  • Support communications may be retained for customer service purposes

Data Retention

  • Diary, weight, recipes and settings: stored on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App
  • Meal photos and descriptions sent for AI analysis: not retained by us after processing
  • Crash reports: retained by our diagnostics provider for a limited period
  • Support emails: retained as long as necessary for customer service

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Deletion

  • Access: You can view all your data within the App
  • Delete: You can delete your data by:
    • Removing entries within the App
    • Clearing app data in your device settings
    • Uninstalling the App

Permissions

  • You can grant or revoke Camera, Microphone, Photo Library, Location, Tracking and Health permissions at any time in iOS Settings
  • Revoking a permission disables the related feature but does not affect data already stored on your device

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights:

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data

Calorie Tracker is a general wellness and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nutrition estimates — especially AI estimates from photos and descriptions — are approximate and may be inaccurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your diet, especially if you have a medical condition or an eating disorder.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at cangarip98@gmail.com, and we will delete such information.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from your country.

By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. For users in the European Economic Area, we rely on your explicit consent and standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for such transfers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
